Our annual
trial weekend will be May 11 and 12, 2013.
Founded in 1960, the Bytown Dog Obedience Club (BDOC) is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting responsible dog ownership with special emphasis on obedience training. We offer obedience classes at our excellent training facility at all levels with training based on Motivational Methods. Each class is taught by an experienced instructor who has achieved a degree at that level or higher.
Throughout the year we host fun matches, show-n-go's, CCGC tests, obedience seminars, CKC sanctioned obedience Trials are held in May of each year. There is an annual Christmas party - for the dogs!
The BDOC Obedience Demo team conducts demonstrations several times a year, their schedule can be found in the on-line calendar.
We are affiliated with agility and Rally Obedience groups. Testing is available for certification for the CKC Canine Good Neighbour
The BDOC supports the work of the Humane Society and the Canadian Guide Dog Association.
